Our client is an Engineering Consultancy specialising in the nuclear sector. They are currently looking to expand their Assurance team through the recruitment of an experienced Safety Case Consultant. The client is happy to look at candidates on either a contract or a staff basis, to be based from their North West offices.

The successful applicant will have the following responsibilities:
Apply scientific and engineering principles and techniques to assess safety and environmental risks
Continue to acquire and apply a working knowledge of risk analysis and hazard identification techniques.
Prepare or manage the preparation of technical reports or parts of technical reports to clients in the nuclear industry i.e. Safety Case Reports.

Applicants should hold a suitable Degree qualification in a scientific or engineering discipline, and have significant post-graduate experience in the preparation of nuclear safety cases within a civil or defence related sector.
